The Pods at Streamvale, a Calor customer, is a family run, stylish glamping location, offering a luxurious and relaxing staycation spot for couples and families alike. Nestled in the countryside close to Belfast, the large farm-based site is located on 50 acres of land, accommodating all holiday requirements.
Located in an idyllic country setting, The Pods at Streamvale allows you to experience nature and switch off from the stresses of modern life. During the day you can visit the farm animals and take part in a host of activities including farm walks, feeding lambs and playing with the farm’s puppies.
The farm is home to many different animals including alpacas, lambs and cows which presents many opportunities for fun and learning for the whole family with activities such as milking cows, tractor rides and pony grooming.
The fields surrounding The Pods offer spectacular scenery to grab a pair of wellies and explore, knowing you will return to your private hot tub to recover and restore.
In the evening, relax with a good book by the firepit and toast some marshmallows. As night falls in the countryside, you get to experience the most amazing scene as the stars come out in all their glory, undimmed by the lights of the city. Sit outside and stargaze and enjoy how the country changes in the night-time.
At the Pods there is something for everyone, offering a unique staycation experience. All Pods are fully equipped with TVs, luxurious soft towels, fluffy bathrobes and fully equipped kitchenette. If you fancy some added luxury, there is a deluxe option available on the Streamvale farm.
Speaking about the history of the farm, Patrick Morrow says “This land has been in the Morrow family for over 300 years. Like many farms over the years, we have chosen to continually diversify in order to remain sustainable. The farm has been open for 30 years, since we opened Streamvale Farm to the public it has grown from strength to strength. There is lots of activities to choose from while on your staycation on the farm at Streamvale.”
Both the farm and the Pods at Streamvale have sustainability at their core. As a Calor BioLPG customer, Streamvale is committed to making sustainably conscious choices. For over five years, Calor BioLPG has powered the on-site eatery for visitors of the farm, while Calor BioLPG also fuels the water heating for the Pods and hot tubs at Streamvale. Other environmentally conscious initiatives include solar panels to run the open farm.
The Pods at Streamvale are now taking bookings for staycations on their website.
