LPG is widely used in agriculture for dairy farming, grain drying, game rearing, poultry and horticulture; housing developers for sites that aren’t connected to the gas grid; in factories as a cleaner, greener fuel for forklift trucks; the hospitality industry for mobile catering, hotels, pubs and restaurants; in industry where it’s used to produce aggregates and asphalts for the country’s road network, distilleries and breweries and manufacturing operations, as well as leisure centres and holiday parks.

The two most common types of LPG are propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10) but Calor has developed a third, 100% renewable version of LPG called BioLPG.
