Calor’s Graduate Engineering Programme is a 2 year programme with various placements available in both Northern Ireland and in the Republic of Ireland. Our key site locations are in Belfast, Dublin and Cork.

About the Graduate Programme

Our Engineering Graduate programme is designed to provide you with the best opportunity to learn and grow within our business while supporting you in your professional development journey. Our programme features a range of supports to assist you in your transition from student to professional.

  • Governance

    Our Graduate Engineer Review Board has been established to ensure placements and learning interventions support your professional development while also meeting the needs of the business.
  • Structure

    Our two-year programme is structured to provide you with two one-year placements aligned to professional development requirements. Example placements include project engineering, commercial tank installations and customer engineering.
  • Performance Management

    Regular 1-1s and coaching sessions with your Placement Manager along with quarterly 1-1s with our Engineering Graduate Programme Manager will provide you with the support and guidance to support your journey through the duration of the programme.
  • Support Touchpoints

    Your dedicated Mentor, one of our highly experienced engineers, will support you throughout the programme, with 1-1 mentoring sessions every 6 weeks. In addition, we will provide you with 1-1 career discussions to help formulate your career goals, peer support along with fun networking events.
  • Development Interventions

    Our programme is supported by a structured learning and development roadmap consisting of various elements including workbased learning; accredited and non-accredited courses; internal and external site visits.
